A garage becomes a year-round studio

Extending the house ductwork across a breezeway was never going to work, and a window unit would have meant noise, security worries, and a fight with the HOA's street-view rules.
We mounted a single-zone Mitsubishi hyper-heat unit high on the north wall, ran the line set through a painted, concealed chase to keep the facade clean, and set the condenser on a vibration-isolated pad behind the fence line.
Install took one day. The studio now holds temperature within a degree, the unit is quieter than the kiln fan, and the HOA never had anything to notice.
